HushCam does not collect anything about you. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no third-party SDKs. Your audio and video travel end-to-end encrypted between the two devices you pair. No one can see them, not the developer, not our hosting providers, not anyone. Even when a relay server is required to traverse a restrictive network, it sees only encrypted bytes, it cannot decrypt your media. The only thing that ever reaches us is a message you choose to write and send from the feedback form.
HushCam pairs two devices over the internet so one acts as a transmitter (near your child) and the other as a receiver (near you). Audio is always streamed; video is optional and runs only in the modes that use it. All detection (voice activation, motion) runs on the device. Nothing is sent anywhere for analysis.
Nothing, unless you send it to us on purpose. HushCam does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information. There is no account to create and no telemetry sent to any server we run. The one exception is the optional feedback form described below, which sends only what you type into it.
If you send feedback from inside the app, the message you type is delivered to the developer by email, along with your app version, operating system version, device model, and language setting. No name, account, or device identifier is attached, and the message is not linked to any pairing or session. Nothing is sent unless you fill in the form and tap Send.
Where an optional tip is offered, the payment is handled entirely by the app store. We never see your card details or billing address, and we have no way to tell who tipped. Tips unlock nothing; every feature works the same with or without them.
No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs are present in the app.
The pages on hushcam.net count page views using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores no identifiers, and cannot tell one visitor from another or follow you between sites. We use it to see whether anyone is reading these pages, nothing more. It runs on the marketing pages only: the HushCam app contains no analytics of any kind, and neither does the web receiver at hushcam.net/pair, which is deliberately kept free of any measurement.
HushCam is designed for adults (parents, caregivers) to monitor children, pets, or rooms. The app itself is not intended for use by children. The app collects nothing on its own, so we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. The optional feedback form is meant for the adult who set HushCam up.
Because we do not collect data, there is nothing to access, export, or delete on our side. You control everything on your device, and you can uninstall HushCam at any time to revoke its permissions.
If this policy changes we will update the "Last updated" date above. The current version is always at hushcam.net/privacy.
